January 2009 Portraits

Meet the Huseby Family...

This was a fun family to photograph. Winter shots are always fun: cold and wet... but fun. The kids were good sports considering how cold it was that day; the youngest wasn't too fond of the cold though--I don't blame her. The snow made for a fun adventure and some great winter pictures. Thanks for letting me capture some fun family moments for your family.

Meet Kenley...

This is my niece Kenley. She is probably my number one customer! I really enjoy taking her pictures. I've been lucky enough to do her baby step portraits, and have loved every minute of it. These were her pre-one-year-old birthday pictures for her birthday invitations (and the final product). We tried to get her to hold up one finger (telling us how old she was going to be), but all we could get was a cute little wave. She is sure fun to photograph. Thanks for being my number one customer Kenley!

Meet the Olsen Family...

This is my sister-in-law's family, and they too were a lot of fun to photograph. I had a lot of fun playing around with these photos in Photoshop. I really liked how the sepia-tone (antique) pictures turned out. Again, it was cold and wet, but the kids were great sports. We went to a few different places and even went on a little hike up the mountain and through the snow. It was a fun little adventure for the boys, and a great opportunity for me to capture what the Olsen family loves-- the outdoors, the mountains, and each other. Thanks for letting me capture your family memories!

Meet Emily...

This is my sister Emily. She is due with twins in April. This was actually my first time doing maternity pictures and I really enjoyed it, I hope to do many more in the future. Thank you Emily for letting me practice on you...you look great and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Meet Alix...

This is my little angel. My favorite person to take pictures of. :)
